When jazz or background music is called for, Body and Soul can supply a quartet, trio or duo to create just the right atmosphere. They have masses of
experience playing at receptions, launches, hotels, restaurants, parties,outdoor events, concerts and festivals. They can perform with or without
vocals. Have a listen to the tracks below and watch the videos to see how they will make your event special. Their repertoire is massive so if you have
a favourite song they will be happy to play it for you.

Duos, trios & Quartets
Sometimes available space or budget restraints mean that a smaller
group is preferred. We are frequently asked to provide afternoon
entertainment for wedding guests with one of our smaller groups,
which are suitable for background music and events such as:
cocktail parties * dinners * outdoor gatherings * drinks receptions *
Launches * jazz concerts * picnics * restaurants * nightclubs * etc.
The cost will be significantly reduced with smaller groups. If you
have preferred instruments you can specify them. The music can be
instrumental or with vocals. All groups include piano, with optional
additional saxophone, bass, drums, female and male vocals.

Corporate Events
For your corporate function, experience, quality and reliability in your band are a must.
Body and Soul have played at many corporate events, launches, and functions. We have even played the heart of London’s
financial district in the pouring rain!
We can provide atmospheric background music for cocktail events and dinners, or the liveliest party music for your evening
dance.
We will dress appropriately for the the occasion and provide great music. We can supply a solo pianist, duo, trio, or full four-
piece band. Our repertoire is massive, containing the best songs from the last 80 years. We will choose our setlist for the day
with care to suit the occasion and your guests, and will take into account any preferences which you may have.

Wedding Breakfast/Cocktail Reception
We can provide quality live background music during the day to keep your guests entertained. Smaller groups are usually preferred for this:
quartets and trios are popular, as well as duos. We have a huge repertoire of the most well loved songs and jazz standards from the last 80
year s to draw from. All of our music is 100% live and we never perform with backing tracks

Wedding Ceremony
Anne is available to play the piano at your ceremony. Her repertoire is huge and she will be happy to play your requests. It can be very special to
have a song which means a lot to you given a unique arrangement for piano and played for you at your wedding ceremony. She will be happy to

Solo Piano
Anne is available to play solo piano at your hotel, restaurant, dinner or party. She has a large repertoire of jazz, latin,
swing, blues, funk and pop songs to choose from to give just the right atmosphere to your event. She can perform
with or without vocals according to your preference. She is also available to play for your wedding service.

‘Letter to my Grandchildren’
During the April llockdown of the 2020 pandemic Anne wrote, recorded and released this track which
has been played on the BBC. It was an entirely solo project in which she sings and plays all of the
instruments herself.
'Letter to my Grandchildren' was inspired by the thought of perhaps being asked, at some point in the
future: “What was it like to live
through the great pandemic of 2020?” How would I answer?
This piece of music is Anne’s attempt to do so. Because it was created during the lockdown, the
thoughts and feelings expressed in it give a snapshot of this time.

from itunes, Amazon mucic, CD baby and all other major download providers.
